Leaders, do you remember where you came from? I’m not referring to where you lived but the events that led to you becoming a leader. From what I have experienced in my last 28 years in the military, I highly doubt that. A rank or position is not about you, but those that look up to and follow you. As leaders we want to be that guiding light for those that follow us. We want to make things better, so that those below us do not have to face the problems we faced to get to where we are at.
